    Go to Beausite Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The Deadfall Trail is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Beausite Lake, and after a long day outdoors Aladdin Motor Inns is a fine location to spend a night or two. At Beausite Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is July.
So many entertaining things in the Olympic Mountains,
 
   just impressive. Anderson Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Any time is a great time at Beausite Lake if you adore the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Bear Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and camping at Discovery Bay Camp-peniel's is always a tremendous experience. Near Beausite Lake you find the Mount Zion Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and camping is available at Sea Breeze Grocery.

               paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Quilcene River, and do take a look at Gibbs Lake, it's a charming lake. All through the summertime at Beausite Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Beausite Lake are in the 30's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Olympic Mountains. During your tour to Beausite Lake you'll meet some folks from Oak Harbor for sure; a good close by hotel is Inn at Port Hadlock.

Cattail Lake

Cattail Lake in within the Bangor Naval Submarine Base and has not been accessible (even to most navy personnel) since 911.  I have not been to Cattail Lake in a long time.  It is a small natural lake with no dam.   I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds.  CRISTA Camps & Conference center is at the south end of Island Lake in Silverdale....
