Angeles Point is quite close. Days Inn Port Angeles is a great location to get some rest, and Elwha River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. The high level of precipitation makes Beach Lake a relatively wet site; December
is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Go for a hike on the Little River Trail, and Elwha Dam RV Park is a good local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Olympic
Mountains. Olympic National Park is a great local destination here at Beach Lake, and don't leave Beach Lake without first going for a hike along the Hurricane Hill Trail. So much enjoyable stuff in the Olympic Mountains, just
impressive. There's brilliant hiking along the Lillian River Trail, and you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains.
