Battalion Lake is a wet location that gets much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is July. For the duration of the summer months at Battalion Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Battalion Lake. Be careful coming       to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You can run the rapids of Granite Creek in close proximity to Battalion Lake; there are great spots to look at along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 26. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Freestone Inn And Cabins is a great choice, and why not camp at Company Creek Campground since you're here at Battalion Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Sun Creek                  is a stream you can visit while you're here, and going for a hike on the Park Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. There's whitewater on Stehekin River for all you adrenaline people, and nearby you find the Rainbow Lake Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Battalion Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is lots of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all.
