The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. If you get bored of Bass Lake, you could also stop by nearby Bald Hill Lake; why not check out close by Elbow Lake Creek while you're here at Bass Lake. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Bass Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Alder Lake Park is a glorious local campground, and the summit of Fossil Rock can be seen from Bass Lake. Throughout       the summertime months highs here at Bass Lake reach the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bass Lake dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant swamp in close proximity to Bass Lake is Parsnip Swamp, and if you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn & Suites Lakewood is a wonderful choice. What a spot this                  is for outdoors folks. Camping at Rainier Villa Mobile Park and RV is always a pleasant experience, and Nisqually River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. Muskrat Dam is a pretty place close to Bass Lake, and Tanwax Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Bass Lake gets a good deal of water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range.
