If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Barrett Lake. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Olsen Riverside Golf Course. A fine site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Barrett Lake is Whatcom Creek; camping at Barrett Lake is tremendous fun, Nor'west RV Park is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful.

Barrett Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Summertime highs at Barrett Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
