Barnsley Lake is a lake worth visiting. If you came for an overnight stay Big Twin Lake Campground is a perfect place to camp, and you can hit the slopes at Loup Loup Ski Bowl nearby. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. High temperatures at Barnsley Lake through the warm months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Barnsley Lake.
