    Do stop by Barnsley Lake while you're in this part of Washington. Barnsley Lake is pretty dried up frequently; through December this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Barnsley Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just impressive. Don't leave Barnsley Lake without first going for a hike along the Pearrygin Trail, and Moccasin Lake Dam is an interesting  
   thing to check out.
All through the summer at Barnsley Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Barnsley Lake during the wintertime regularly dip into the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Why not camp at Big Twin Lake Campground if you're here at Barnsley Lake, and Echo
 
               Valley has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Patterson Mountain is easy to spot from Barnsley Lake, and nice skiing awaits you at Loup Loup Ski Bowl.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Pearrygin Lake is a lake close at hand, and a fine place to camp here at Barnsley Lake is Pine-near Trailer Park. Looking for some flowing water? Try Chewuch River; there's whitewater on Twisp River for all you thrill seekers.
This lake is so wonderful. There are tremendous sites to discover along the Bluff Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chewuch River. There's nice hiking along the South Fork Trail, and Bear Creek Golf Course is a delightful golf course close by.
