Barnsley Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Barnsley Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Pine-near Trailer Park is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Chewuch River. Yeah, come here to Barnsley Lake for a brilliant time. Playing golf is lots of fun at Bear Creek Golf Course; you can go for a hike on the Pearrygin Trail. | | Cascade Range. For the period of the summer months here at Barnsley Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Barnsley Lake. Range, just extraordinary. You could also have a look at Big Twin Lake while you're here at Barnsley Lake; it's nearby, and great hiking is available along the South Fork Trail. You can take a little tour to Moccasin Lake Dam
while you're here at Barnsley Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Loup Loup Ski Bowl. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Stay the night at Big Twin Lake Campground,
and Barnsley Lake is not the only location nearby, Twin Lakes is a nearby lake. The snow is wonderful at Echo Valley. Barnsley Lake gets very little rain; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is the month with
the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You get a great vista of Patterson Mountain from Barnsley Lake, and getting to Chewuch River from Barnsley Lake is easy.
