Cottontree Inn is a great place to get some rest. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. Some nearby water includes East Fork Nookachamps Creek, and a lake nearby is Ten Lake.
For the duration of the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Barney Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime
at Barney Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. The top of Big Rock is easily observed from Barney Lake, and a good nearby hotel is Mt. Vernon Days Inn.
