Barney Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. The amount of rain that falls at Barney Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Barney Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Mount Vernon-Anacortes. All       year is a fine time in the Northern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Looking for a tremendous journey? Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is quite next to Barney Lake, and Big Lake Resort is a wonderful local campground. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Barney Lake, too good to be true. Mt.Baker is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Eaglemont Golf Course. Get yourself into                  a kayak and hit Pilchuck Creek, and if you get bored of Barney Lake you could also check out close by Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Riverbend RV Park is a good site to camp, and Best Western Cottontree Inn is a great place to get some rest. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. Some nearby water includes East Fork Nookachamps Creek, and a lake nearby is Ten Lake. For the duration of the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Barney Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Barney Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. The top of Big Rock is easily observed from Barney Lake, and a good nearby hotel is Mt. Vernon Days Inn.   Mt.
