The beauty of Barclay Lake attracts many people from all around. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. The view of Baring Mountain from Barclay Lake is scenic, and the Mount Defiance Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Barclay Lake that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a splendid spot for that, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Eagle Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Alpental; there's good hiking along the Pratt Lake Trail. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Barclay Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, San Juan Campground is a delightful local campground, and Paradise Meadow is a pleasant place to stretch your legs a bit. place for whitewater paddling close to Barclay Lake is Skykomish River - South Fork, and tremendous hiking is available along the Middle Fork Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. In the event that
you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Money Creek, and after a long day outdoors Salish Lodge And Spa is a good site to spend a night or two. Barclay Lake generally gets lots of precipitation; the month
of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Stephens Pass is one of those things you just should do. For the period of the long summer days,
highs typically are in the 70's at Barclay Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Barclay Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's.
