What a location this is for outdoors folks. A glorious place for whitewater paddling right next door to Ballinger Lake is Spokane River;       a perfect location to camp here at Ballinger Lake is Williams Lake Resort. High temperatures at Ballinger Lake during the summertime are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Ballinger Lake dip into the 20's. Hangman Creek is a fine whitewater spot close to Ballinger Lake, and camping is available at Peaceful Pines Camp                  Ground.
