If you're here, you might as well take a look at Arbothknott Canyon, and fine hiking is available along the Tucannon River Trail. Any time is a glorious time at Baker Pond if you adore the outdoors. A great place to camp here at Baker Pond is Pataha Campground. The warmest time of the year at Baker Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is rather cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Highs through the       winter are regularly in the 30's while Baker Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Don't leave Baker Pond without first paying a visit to Government Spring, and why not take a refreshing hike along the North Fork Asotin Creek Trail. Around Baker Pond you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month is July. Hit the slopes at Bluewood nearby, and Baker Pond is tremendous                  enough to spend more than a day at, Alder Thicket Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
