So many exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range, just mind-boggling. Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Ruth Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Cascade Range. Snowwater Condos is a good place       to get some rest, and why not camp at Depression Lake Campground since you're here at Baker Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Baker Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Baker Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Baker Lake; Gee Point Trail is a perfect local trail, and if you get bored of Baker Lake                  you could also explore nearby Lilypad Lake. Getting to Chadwick Creek from Baker Lake is trouble-free, and there's wonderful hiking along the Finney Peak Trail. Baker Lake gets a lot of water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Baker River; a nice place to camp here at Baker Lake is Kulshan Campground.
