Everybody close by loves skiing at Mt. Spokane. Lakes? Sure, Law Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Baker Lake is next to Baker Lake Dam which is a lovely spot positively worth stopping at, and Baker Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Paw Camp & Retreat Center is a great local campground. Man, is there lots of       cool stuff to do close to Baker Lake. Gotta ski! 49 Degrees North is a delightful spot to do that. High temperatures at Baker Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Baker Lake fall into the 10's. Baker Lake gets very little rain; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July meanwhile                  is the driest month.
