If you are in Spokane county it's always a good idea to stop by Badger Lake. At Badger Lake you don’t see much rain; through December this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you come at the right time of year, Hangman Creek offers some good whitewater, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Willow Springs Motel near EWU. Summer at Badger Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is quite

After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and Peaceful Pines Camp Ground is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Williams Lake Resort is a fine location to camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Spokane River.
