Many people like to go to Avalanche Lake. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Avalanche Lake is excellent! If you come at the right time of year, Box Canyon Creek offers some tremendous whitewater; the snow is fine at Snoqualmie. Avalanche Lake is a rather wet place typically with a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month is July. Avalanche Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range.

If you came for an overnight stay Commonwealth Campground is a tremendous place to camp, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpental is quite near. During the summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Avalanche Lake, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Avalanche | |

Lake. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Middle Fork Trail; the summit of Chikamin Peak can be made out from Avalanche Lake.
Float
down the rapids of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork in a kayak, and Foss River Campground is a magnificent campground here. This lake is so wonderful. A quick tour to Crawford Creek near Avalanche Lake is a good idea. This lake is so
wonderful. Going for a hike along the Escondido Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and not far from Avalanche Lake you'll come across Chikamin Lake which is a wonderful lake.
Hiking along the Cooper Pass Trail is splendid fun; Suncadia Resort is a fine place to get some rest.
