Why not stop by Aurora Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Aurora Lake is right by the Big Creek Trail, and The Governor Hotel is a delightful place to get some rest. So many exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range, just striking. There's tremendous hiking along the Paul Peak Trail, and after a long day outdoors Kings Value Inn - Enumclaw, Wa is a great place to spend a night or two.

| | is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Head up to Crystal Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Saint Andrews Lake is one of those nearby. Aurora Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Longmire Campground is a good local campground, and if you haven’t been to Mount Rainier National Park, you should schedule some time for it since you're here. Lake. Saint Andrews Park is a delightful place here at Aurora Lake, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Silver Creek.
Much rainfall falls at Aurora Lake; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while
July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Aurora Peak is a peak you can make out from Aurora Lake, and the Ipsut Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Skate Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby;
camping at Cougar Rock Campground is always a splendid experience.
Aurora Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Aurora Lake through the summer months are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Aurora Lake temperatures fall to the 30's.
