All the water falling down from the sky makes Atherns Pond a wet site; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Mount Vernon-Anacortes here; you can stay the night at Wildwood Resort. Atherns Pond is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't stop me now, cause I'm       havin' a delightful time here at Atherns Pond. Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Burlington is a good spot to get some rest. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. A visit to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is recommended, and if you need a place to stay Snowwater Condos is a brilliant choice. If you come at the right time of year, Nooksack River - South Fork offers some good whitewater,                  and Atherns Pond is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Riverview Park is a delightful site to camp nearby. Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Atherns Pond with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Atherns Pond fall into the 30's.
