Aspen Lake is right by the Pearrygin Trail. There's so much to do here at Aspen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine-near Trailer Park is a good place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff right next door to Aspen Lake. Hiking along the South Fork Trail is magnificent fun, and golf can be played at Bear Creek Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're       here at Aspen Lake why not pop by Elbow Coulee, and the Bluff Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Twisp River, and you can stay the night at Big Twin Lake Campground. A day on the slopes of Loup Loup Ski Bowl is just what you need, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Moccasin Lake is one of those nearby. Not much rain falls here at                  Aspen Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Aspen Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Aspen Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Moccasin Lake Dam is not far at all from Aspen Lake. Lakes are great; Big Twin Lake is a lake that's next to Aspen Lake. All year is a good time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors.
