This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Moccasin Lake Dam in close proximity to Aspen Lake is striking, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chewuch River. What a site this is for outdoors people. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Loup Loup Ski Bowl is in the neighborhood of Aspen Lake, and Sun Mountain Lodge is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range.

| | Aspen Lake is not the only location close by, Big Twin Lake is a close by lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Pearrygin Trail. Aspen Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site next to Aspen Lake is Elbow Coulee, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Aspen Lake; Bluff Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail. playing golf at Bear Creek Golf Course is always a delight; why not camp at Big Twin Lake Campground while you're here at Aspen Lake. Aspen Lake is right by the South Fork Trail; Pine-near Trailer Park is a perfect local campground.
If you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn-Winthrop is a glorious choice; naturally Thompson Creek flows through this vicinity. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. A lake nearby
is Moccasin Lake, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Twisp River. Around Aspen Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; through December this area sees the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. Through the warm months,
highs typically are in the 80's at Aspen Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Aspen Lake.
