Arbuthnot Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is commonly the driest month. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. Arbuthnot Lake is not the only place close by, Mazama Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Depression Lake Campground since you're here at Arbuthnot Lake; if you've had enough of Arbuthnot Lake, Galena
Chain Lakes is close by. Summertime highs at Arbuthnot Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and the night is slightly colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Arbuthnot Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.
