If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Ann. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Baker River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; camping at Shuksan Campground is always a splendid experience. Camping is available at Hannegan Campground; dry warm beds await you at Eagles Nest Motel & RV Park. Lake Ann gets a lot of water; November is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.

| | that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ruth Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lake Ann, checking out Fisher Chimney is a must, and there are other places here than Lake Ann, for example Maiden Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.

the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's; overnight lows at Lake Ann through the winter regularly fall into the 30's. Taking a little spree to nearby Shuksan Arm is a great idea; if you need a site to stay Cascade Mountain Lodge is a delightful choice.
