A day on the slopes of Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is just what you need; Lake Angeles is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Peabody Creek RV Park is a magnificent local campground. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. Lakes are such calm sites, why not go to Peabody Heights Reservoir near Lake Angeles; don't miss out on a journey to Olympic National Park while you're here. Cox       Valley is right here at Lake Angeles, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Port Angeles. Lake Angeles is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. A great deal of rainfall falls at Lake Angeles; through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Angeles; the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the                  highs are frequently in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lake Angeles. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Angeles. Why not stop at Lake Dawn Dam since you're here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lillian River Trail. PJ Lake is a great lake near Lake Angeles; Days Inn Port Angeles is a magnificent spot to get some rest. A nice spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lake Angeles is Elwha River, and the peak of First Top can be observed from Lake Angeles. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Lake Angeles has it all. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elwha River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Angeles; Little River Trail is a great local trail. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains.
