Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Elwha River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Lake Angeles, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Angeles; Lake Creek Trail is a glorious local trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Lake Angeles has to offer. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn Port       Angeles is a nice choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Peabody Creek RV Park is a tremendous location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little River Trail, and a great close by hotel is Port Angeles Super 8 Motel. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Olympic Mountains. The sights at Olympic National Park will blow your mind, and one of the main traits of the surroundings of Lake Angeles                  is First Top. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a look at Lake Dawn Dam if you're here; you have to positively dedicate some time to Cox Valley while you're here at Lake Angeles. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Angeles. Lake Angeles is right by the Lillian River Trail; PJ Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. If you get bored of Lake Angeles, you could also have a look at close by Peabody Heights Reservoir, and camping is available at Heart of the Hills Campground. Really fine skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elwha River. High temperatures at Lake Angeles during the warm months are in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
