Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Silver Creek Trail. Having a great time at Anderson Lake is trouble-free. Bertha May Lake is a wonderful lake near Anderson Lake; naturally, all our national parks are glorious places to check out and Mount Rainier National Park is no exception. Lake Christine
July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
