High temperatures at Anderson Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows at Anderson Lake throughout the winter commonly plunge into the 30's. A fine site to camp here at Anderson Lake is Cowlitz Falls Campground, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater       of Mineral Creek - North Fork. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's perfect hiking along the Big Creek Trail, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Silver Creek. Anderson Lake is a relatively wet place regularly with lots of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. The Northern Cascade Range scenery                  is always beautiful. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Anderson Lake. Good hiking is available along the Osborne Mountain Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Anderson Lake; Silver Creek Trail is a magnificent local trail. A great close by hotel is The Governor Hotel, and if you're looking for a wonderful tour, Mount Rainier National Park is rather near. This lake is so wonderful.
