American Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 70's at American Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows at American Lake all through the wintertime frequently dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Crystal Mountain is next to American Lake, and there's whitewater

| | on Chinook Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Soda Springs Campground is a perfect site to camp, and you can run the rapids of Summit Creek.

its best. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Camping is available at Morse Creek Campground;
Anderson Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Take a hike on the Sheep Lake Trail, and the skiing at White Pass is great. American Lake commonly gets a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture.
