A pleasant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA, and a lake nearby is Alkali Lake. Amber Lake is a location that is quite dried out typically; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and August is the month with       the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Amber Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Amber Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
