If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Alturas Lake. Alturas Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. There's some flowing water nearby, Burn Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and don't leave Alturas Lake without first going for a hike along the Cooper Pass Trail. | | little time. You'll come across a gorgeous lake called Bald Eagle Lake near Alturas Lake; there's pleasant hiking along the Middle Fork Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. Bald Eagle Peak can be seen from Alturas Lake, and you can stay the night at Deception Creek Campground. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. | |

Head up to Stephens Pass and strap some skis to your feet, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Foss River. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Snoqualmie is just what you need, and if you come at the right time
of year, Tye River offers some magnificent whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Suncadia Resort is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Go for a hike on the Escondido Trail; Foss River Campground is
a brilliant campground here. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Alturas Lake reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Alturas Lake tend to be in the 30's.
