Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Alturas Lake. Soar down the rapids of Foss River in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Alturas Lake; Middle Fork Trail is a perfect local trail. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. At Alturas Lake you can spot Bald Eagle Peak, and you can hit the slopes at Snoqualmie       in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Alturas Lake without first going for a hike along the Escondido Trail. There's so much to do here at Alturas Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Foss River Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Alturas Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Deception Creek Campground is a glorious local campground; do visit Bald Eagle Lake, it's a lovely lake. Get                  yourself into a kayak and hit Tye River; Stephens Pass has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. At Alturas Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Alturas Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you need a site to stay Suncadia Resort is a brilliant choice, and let's not forget Burn Creek which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. There's tremendous hiking along the Cooper Pass Trail, and Jewel Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Alturas Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
