Get wet paddling on Chelan River, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Lakeside Lodge & Suites is a great choice. So many amusing things to do at Alta Lake, so little time. Alta Coulee is close to Alta Lake and is certainly a magnificent location to go to. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Alta Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kachess       - Wenatchee National Forest; what would winter be without some skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl. The warmest time of the year at Alta Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Alta Lake drop into the 10's. The good folks of Wenatchee like to hang out close by, and Alta Lake is a good                  location to visit for more than one day, Lakeshore RV Park is a good location to camp nearby. Not much precipitation falls here at Alta Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that snows the most; July is the month with the least moisture.
