You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Alta Lake. After a long day outdoors Best Western Lakeside Lodge & Suites is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not take a look at Little Dick Lake. The best way to spend a winter day       is on the slopes of close by Echo Valley. Alta Coulee is a tremendous place to pop by close to Alta Lake, and a beautiful lake like Green Lake is a perfect location to stop at. If you came for an overnight stay Lakeshore RV Park is a delightful site to camp; paddling on Chelan River is so much fun. Around Alta Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the snow falls through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Kachess                  - Wenatchee National Forest is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Methow River. All through the summertime at Alta Lake highs are usually in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's.
