Alta Lake is typically a relatively arid place; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Alta Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cle Elum River Group Site - Wenatchee National Forest is a nice place for that, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl. Stay the night at Kachess       - Wenatchee National Forest, and Echo Valley is a wonderful local ski area. Apple Inn Motel is a great place to get some rest; paddling on Methow River is so much fun. Yeah, come here to Alta Lake for a wonderful time. This is a popular place for people from Wenatchee, and Alta Lake is in the vicinity of Alta Coulee which is undeniably worth taking a look at. At Alta Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is                  somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Alta Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
