     During the summer months here at Lake Allen, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Lake Allen night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Lake Allen is a wet spot that gets much rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; July is when it's the driest. All year is a brilliant time in the Northern  
   Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. A great site near Lake Allen is Round Pass, and a nice nearby hotel is Kings Valu Inn.
This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Lake Allen is Mounthaven Resort; if you're here you can take a hike along the Silver Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Silver Creek, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Osborne
 
               Mountain Trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Allen. Skate Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby; at Lake Allen you can spot Tumtum Peak.
Mount Rainier National Park is a magnificent place in close proximity to Lake Allen; there are other locations here than Lake Allen, for example Kenworthy Lake. Lake Allen is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
Camping is available at High Rock Campground; do take a hike on the Big Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes? Sure, Lake George is close at hand; some nearby water includes Berry Creek.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
