Lots of folks from Shelton come to Aldrich Lake; Alderbrook Resort and Spa is a pleasant site to get some rest. Aldrich Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. Aldrich Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Summertide Resort is a perfect local campground, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Hamma Hamma River. Summer at Aldrich Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period       of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Aldrich Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Aldrich Lake is a relatively wet place mostly with a good deal of precipitation; all through December this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Lakes are tremendous; U Lake is a lake that's in close                  proximity to Aldrich Lake; there's whitewater on Jefferson Creek for all you adrenaline people. So many exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. If you came to camp Rest-a-while is a brilliant place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Shelton is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Near Aldrich Lake you come across the Mount Jupiter Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; a spree to nearby Dewatto Bay is very relaxing. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Olympic Mountains. This is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes.
