Get soaked paddling on Nisqually River, obviously you could also have a look at La Grande Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. Stay the night at Alder Lake Park, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Twentyseven Creek Reservoir is just a very short distance away. At Alder Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are       frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Alder Lake tend to be in the 30's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Nisqually River; there's always Alder Dam to stop by next to Alder Lake. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
