    What a nice lake Alaska Lake is. Alaska Lake is a relatively wet place mostly with much rain; January is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. Good hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25; there's whitewater on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. You get a splendid view of Alaska Mountain from Alaska Lake, and naturally Silver Creek flows through  
   this area.
At Alaska Lake all through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Alaska Lake. Alaska Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Crystal Springs Campground is a delightful local campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpental is quite near. Alaska Lake is one of the lakes here
 
               in the Northern Cascade Range.
All the outdoors fun stuff close to Alaska Lake will keep you coming back again and again. You can run the rapids of Dingford Creek in the vicinity of Alaska Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Alaska Lake; Cooper Pass Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. A day on the slopes of Snoqualmie is just what you need, as expected you could also pop by Edds Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Alaska Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Commonwealth Campground is a delightful spot for that; you can go for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail.
