     So many amusing things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too great to be true. Head up to Crystal Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and dry warm beds await you at Kings Valu Inn. Lots of rain falls at Adelaide Lake; during November this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Visiting Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and don't leave Adelaide Lake without first going  
   for a hike along the Flip-O-Way Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Van Horn Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and from Adelaide Lake you get a delightful sight of Clear West Peak. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Northern Cascade Range. Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do close to Adelaide Lake. Stay the night at White River Campground, and a pleasant visit to Mosquito Flat is a glorious way
 
               to spend an afternoon.
You can run the rapids of Clearwater River - White River Tributary next to Adelaide Lake, and if you've had enough of Adelaide Lake, Oliver Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. The area where Adelaide Lake is, is dominated by the Sluiskin Mountains; going for a hike on the Northern Loop Trail is always a tremendous adventure. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. Windy Gap is close to Adelaide Lake and is without doubt a good location to take a look at, and Adelaide Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Ipsut Creek Campground is a fine place to camp nearby.
Adelaide Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of White River, and you can go for a hike on the Carbon Trail. All year is a glorious time in the Northern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. Van Horn Falls is always fun to check out, needless to say you could also pop by Marjorie Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
For the duration of the summertime months at Adelaide Lake highs are usually in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Adelaide Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
