If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Worcester Ponds. Worcester Ponds gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Near Worcester Ponds you come across the Kettle Pond Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Green Valley Campground. the highs are mostly in the 10's, and night lows at Worcester Ponds all through the wintertime frequently descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. CAPITAL INN is a great spot to get some rest; wonderful skiing awaits you at
Smugglers Notch. Visit Catamount Brook if you're here at Worcester Ponds, and if you get bored of Worcester Ponds you could also have a look at nearby Worcester Pond. Just can't get enough of Worcester Ponds. You're sure to come
across some nice people from Barre here, and going for a hike on the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail is always a magnificent adventure. But wait, there's more to do near Worcester Ponds. Minister Brook has a splendid whitewater paddling
spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Worcester Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a nice location for that.
