What a nice lake Worcester Pond is. The slopes of Stowe are so inviting nobody can resist, and Worcester Pond is not far at all from Barre. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Worcester Pond Lower Dam in close proximity to Worcester Pond, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Minister Brook. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Green Mountains rules! Going for a hike along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail will let

| | you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you need a place to stay CAPITAL INN is a pleasant choice. Worcester Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. This is a splendid area for folks who like lakes. Curtis Pond is a lake in the neighborhood; dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Montpelier. This lake is so wonderful. Campground is a nice campground nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. At Worcester Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 60's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Highs through the
wintertime are generally in the 10's, and night lows during the wintertime for Worcester Pond tend to be in the 0's. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Green Mountains. You're
most likely keen on lakes, Hawkins Pond is one of those nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Winooski River. Green Valley Campground is a great local campground; if the weather
is great, you can go for a hike along the Owls Head Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Worcester Pond has to offer. What would winter be without some skiing at Smugglers Notch. Much
rain falls at Worcester Pond; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Kettle Pond Trail is glorious fun, and the summit of Hersey Hill can be seen from Worcester Pond.
