Go to Woodward Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. There's always Woodward Reservoir Dam to check out near Woodward Reservoir, and drift down the rapids of Mill River in a kayak. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. You're probably keen on lakes, Upper Moore Pond is one of those nearby; get yourself into a kayak and hit White River. This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Woodward Reservoir

| | called the Juggernaut Trail; if you need a place to stay Killington Grand Resort Hotel is a fine choice. Woodward Reservoir is located in the Green Mountains. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Green Mountains. Nearby lakes? are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows throughout the winter for Woodward Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. You just can't envision the amount
of outdoors exciting stuff the area next to Woodward Reservoir has to offer. Woodward Reservoir is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Coolidge State Park is a glorious place to camp nearby, and you'll never forgive yourself
if you don’t go skiing at Killington while you're here. Falls Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and from Woodward Reservoir you acquire a great view of Allens Hill. Woodward Reservoir is a wet spot that
gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. And that's not all you can do here at Woodward Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Circle
Trail; lots of folks from Rutland come here. So much exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Bucklin Trail is always a great adventure, and skiing at Pico Mountain
is one of those things you just should do. Plymouth Village Campground is a brilliant local campground, and Black Swamp is a swamp next to Woodward Reservoir.
