Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Woodward Reservoir is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Mill River, and this is a popular site for people from Rutland. So many enjoyable things right next door to Woodward Reservoir, truly unbelievable. | | great places here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Plymouth Village Campground is always a splendid experience, and what would winter be without some skiing at Pico Mountain. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Woodward Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Woodward Reservoir dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. | |

There's whitewater on White River for all you adrenaline junkies; close by you hit upon the Bucklin Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Swamps are attention-grabbing sites and Black Swamp close to Woodward Reservoir is no
exception; a good spot to camp here at Woodward Reservoir is Coolidge State Park. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back many times. The slopes of Killington are so inviting noone can resist; going
for a hike on the Circle Trail is always a delightful adventure. Woodward Reservoir is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Yep, outdoors
fun stuff to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Woodward Reservoir. From Woodward Reservoir you obtain a tremendous vista of Allens Hill. Woodward Reservoir Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's near Woodward Reservoir, and if
you need a spot to stay Killington Grand Resort Hotel is a nice choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Take a little trip to Falls Brook while you're here at Woodward Reservoir; there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Juggernaut Trail.
