Winooski River Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Don't leave Winooski River Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail; Stowe Hollow Campground is a pleasant campground here. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Country Club of Vermont not far from Winooski River Reservoir, and a delightful close by hotel is The Equinox.

| | And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do in close proximity to Winooski River Reservoir. The skiing at Bolton Valley is delightful, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Winooski River. This lake is so wonderful. A good spot for whitewater paddling near Winooski River Reservoir is Mad River; after a long day outdoors Best Western Waterbury-Stowe is a splendid site to spend a night or two. | |

You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Green Mountains has to offer. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Stowe is in close proximity to Winooski River Reservoir, and great hiking is available along the Stevenson
Brook Trail. Winooski River Reservoir gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. People from Barre love to come to Winooski River Reservoir,
and if you came for an overnight stay Duxbury Campground is a glorious spot to camp. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Green Mountains rules! Great Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting;
hiking is a popular thing to do around Winooski River Reservoir; Dalley Loop Trail is a wonderful local trail. All through the warm months, highs typically are in the 60's at Winooski River Reservoir. Summer night lows dip down to
the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while Winooski River Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
