    Many people like to go to Wilmington Reservoir. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Wilmington Reservoir get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Wilmington Reservoir sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Deerfield Ridge Trail; Hermitage Inn is a great  
   place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. At Wilmington Reservoir you can distinguish Castle Hill, and Haystack has glorious slopes and a friendly staff.
Here at Wilmington Reservoir there are plenty of folks from Bennington; get yourself into a kayak and hit Deerfield River - East Branch. While you're here at Wilmington Reservoir you can take a hike along the Deerfield Ridge Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Mount Snow in the neighborhood. If the weather
 
               is good here at Wilmington Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Ghost Trail, and get wet paddling on Deerfield River.
Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Wilmington Reservoir. Wilmington Reservoir is a glorious spot to camp, Moss Hollow Campground is a glorious spot, and dry warm beds await you at Crafts Inn. The high level of rainfall makes Wilmington Reservoir a reasonably wet spot; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Wilmington Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Red Mill Brook Campground, and let's not forget Beaver Brook which is a stream that you may run into while you're here.
