Wheeler Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Wheeler Pond. If you need a place to stay Coos Motor Inn is a pleasant choice, and camping is available at Big Rock Campground and Store. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Hiking along the Moose Trail is magnificent fun; get dripping wet paddling on

| | Israel River. Summertime highs at Wheeler Pond typically tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Wheeler Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights.
