You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Wheeler Pond. If you need a place to stay Coos Motor Inn is a pleasant choice, and camping is available at Big Rock Campground and Store. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Hiking along the Moose Trail is magnificent fun; get dripping wet paddling on       Israel River. Summertime highs at Wheeler Pond typically tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Wheeler Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. From a precipitation point of view Wheeler Pond is a pretty typical site; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount                  of precipitation. And that's not everything you can do here in the Green Mountains. Don't forget to take a nice little tour to Kimball Brook, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not explore Tuttle Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Loon Trail, and Lancaster Motor Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Nulhegan River is so much fun; what would winter be without some skiing at Burke Mountain.
