If you are traveling by, why not stop by Westford Pond. A good spot to camp here at Westford Pond is Homestead Campgrounds, and Browns River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. Just can't get enough of Westford Pond. But wait, there's more to do near Westford Pond. The slopes of Cochran Ski Center are so inviting noone can resist; camping at Maple Grove Campground is always a magnificent experience.

Bolton Valley is a great location to do that, and for you golfers we recommend close by Essex Country Club. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Westford Pond reach the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, frequently in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Mill Brook, and a perfect close by hotel is Inn At Essex. Milton Pond is a great lake in the neighborhood of Westford
Pond; why not a little side journey to Pond Brook. After a long day outdoors Handy Suites Essex is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; there's splendid hiking along the North Shore Trail.
Westford Pond gets a normal amount
of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Westford Pond without first going for a hike along the Southern Tip Trail, and Bald Hill is clearly visible from Westford Pond.
