This lake is so wonderful. The Shore Trail is a good hiking trail near West Mountain Pond. There's so much to do here at West Mountain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Big Rock Campground and Store is a pleasant site for that. Walker Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here; dry warm beds await you at Ledges Motel. Summertime highs at West Mountain Pond commonly tend to be in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down | |
