Why not stop by West Mountain Pond if you're passing through these parts. Burke Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. A fine nearby hotel is Lancaster Motor Inn, and Paul Stream Pond is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than West Mountain Pond, for example Maidstone Lake, and Walker Dam is not far at all from West Mountain

So many fun things to do at West Mountain Pond, so little time. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Israel River, and going for a hike on the Shore Trail is always a delightful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Big Rock Campground and Store is always a magnificent experience; there are perfect places to explore along the Loon Trail. That right there is a lot of fun stuff already | |

but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. If you need a location to stay Coos Motor Inn is a fine choice, and don't leave West Mountain Pond without first going for a hike along the Moose Trail.
West Mountain Pond gets a
normal amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Some nearby water includes Maidstone Brook, and
camping is available at Connolly Cabins.
Summertime at West Mountain Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically
in the 20's while West Mountain Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. Nulhegan River is a great whitewater spot right next door to West Mountain Pond, and you're sure to encounter some friendly people from Berlin here.
