It's always fun to stop by West Hill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here, and dry warm beds await you at Hollow Inn and Motel. Through the days of summer here at West Hill Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Just can't get enough of West Hill Pond. Enjoy a round of golf at Woodbury Golf Course not far from West Hill Pond; Jug Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. All the outdoors cool things in the Green Mountains
will keep you coming back time and again. If you came to camp Larry and Sons Campground is a delightful site to do that, and nearby you find the Owls Head Trail which is a good hiking trail.
There's whitewater on Winooski River
for all you adrenaline people, and the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is a fine hiking trail nearby. Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail.
