Waterman Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Waterman Pond has it all. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Waterman Pond called the Peacham Bog Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Hamilton House Bed & Breakfast. | | good on Joe's Brook River, and going for a hike on the South Shore Hiking Trail is always a glorious adventure.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Badger Brook, and you can hit the slopes at Lyndon Outing Club close at hand. Summer at Waterman Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Burke Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Waterman Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Injun Joe Court is a perfect local campground; on a tremendous day you can take a hike
along the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail.
Get drenched paddling on Moose River, and if you need a place to stay Injun Joe Court is a delightful choice.
