This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Little River; a brilliant close by hotel is Trapp Family Lodge. Summertime highs at Waterbury Reservoir generally tend to be in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 10's with temperatures at Waterbury Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Waterbury - Stowe is a brilliant choice. There's brilliant hiking along the Stevenson Brook Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Ridley Brook. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. The scenery at Waterbury
Dam in the vicinity of Waterbury Reservoir is pretty; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bolton Valley. Lakes? Sure, Butler Pond is in close proximity; Waterbury Reservoir is right by the Dalley Loop Trail.
