    Waterbury Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Green Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Waterbury Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Duxbury Campground, and Bolton Valley has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Green Mountains. Little River is a great whitewater spot close  
   to Waterbury Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Waterbury Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Gold Brook Campground is a glorious spot for that. For the period of the summer here at Waterbury Reservoir, high temperatures generally reach the 60's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at Waterbury Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.

               is Best Western Waterbury-Stowe, and why not take a little trip to Little River if you're here. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Waterbury Dam; glorious skiing awaits you at Stowe. Waterbury Reservoir is a good site of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February.
And that's not all you can do here at Waterbury Reservoir. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ridley Brook; hiking along the Stevenson Brook Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a round of golf at nearby Blush Hill Country Club is a perfect way to kill some time. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Trapp Family Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Dalley Loop Trail. At Waterbury Reservoir you always meet someone from Barre.
