Whitewater paddling is great on Little River; a brilliant close by hotel is Trapp Family Lodge. Summertime highs at Waterbury Reservoir generally tend to be in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 10's with temperatures at Waterbury Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Waterbury Reservoir. Hit the slopes at       Stowe close by. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Green Mountains has to offer. During your visit to Waterbury Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Barre for sure; golf can be played at Blush Hill Country Club. Waterbury Reservoir is a good spot of common rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail offers hiking at its best;                  Gold Brook Campground is a great local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Take a little visit to Little River while you're here at Waterbury Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Waterbury - Stowe is a brilliant choice. There's brilliant hiking along the Stevenson Brook Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Ridley Brook. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. The scenery at Waterbury Dam in the vicinity of Waterbury Reservoir is pretty; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bolton Valley. Lakes? Sure, Butler Pond is in close proximity; Waterbury Reservoir is right by the Dalley Loop Trail. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Green Mountains rules!
