    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Warrior Lakes. While you're here at Warrior Lakes you can take a hike along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial; you're perhaps keen on lakes, Lake Hortonia is one of those nearby. If you love the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Warrior Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Poultney River; an afternoon playing golf at Prospect Bay Country Club is always a bliss.
The amount
 
   of rainfall that falls at Warrior Lakes is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's whitewater on Otter Creek for all you thrill seekers. Lakes are pleasant; Choate Pond is a lake that's right next door to Warrior Lakes. On a pleasant day at Warrior Lakes you can take a hike along the Glen Lake Trail, and  
               delightful water scenery is available at Burr Pond Dam close to Warrior Lakes.
There's so much to do here at Warrior Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Big D Campground is a pleasant site for that; since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Rutland. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Warrior Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Half Moon Pond Trail, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a good site to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Warrior Lakes with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Warrior Lakes temperatures descend to the 0's.
Warrior Lakes is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Half Moon State Park Campground is a magnificent local campground, and if you need a site to stay The Middlebury Inn is a perfect choice. If you're addicted to cool geologic marks, try Barber Ledge, and one of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Warrior Lakes is Signal Hill.
