    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Wardner Pond. This site, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A lake nearby is North Pond, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River. Wardner Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Wardner Pond really is in the middle of a beautiful  
   outdoors paradise. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wardner Pond; Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail is a good local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Wardner Pond to catch a sight of the water at Baker Pond Dam, and don't leave Wardner Pond without first going for a hike along the Bear Hill Trail. A nice spot for whitewater paddling near Wardner Pond is Mad River, and some close by water includes Robinson Brook. Through the summer
 
               at Wardner Pond highs are regularly in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, typically in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Wardner Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
So many fun things to do in the Green Mountains, not sufficient time. At Wardner Pond you always meet someone from Barre, and there's great hiking along the Clark Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Limehurst Lake is a glorious place to camp, and Hilltop Inn is a great location to get some rest. Baker Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit; on a gorgeous day you obtain a fine view of Bear Hill from Wardner Pond.
What a place this is for outdoors people. Sugarbush is a magnificent local ski area, and a fine close by hotel is Comfort Inn At Maplewood. Wardner Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Twin Farms is close to Wardner Pond, and Lake Champagne Campground is a great local campground.
