    It's always fun to stop by Wallingford Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Going for a hike on the Keewaydin Trail is always a magnificent adventure; there are some great whitewater spots on Mill River. At Wallingford Pond you can distinguish Wilder Mountain; there's whitewater on Big Branch for all you thrill seekers. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Wallingford Pond is great!.
This lake
 
   is so wonderful. next to Wallingford Pond you'll discover a wooded neighborhood called Green Mountain National Forest, and if you need a place to stay Rock Garden Cottages is a pleasant choice. During the long summer days at Wallingford Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Wallingford Pond tend to be in the  
               0's. Wallingford Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Green Mountains. Why not stop by close by Feller Brook if you're here at Wallingford Pond, and after a long day outdoors Buckmaster Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Bromley and strap some skis to your feet, and you can go for a hike on the Homer Stone Trail. If you're popping by Wallingford Pond from Rutland, you won't be the only one; a day on the slopes of Okemo is just what you need.
Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Fifield Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and don't leave Wallingford Pond without first going for a hike along the Green Mountain Trail. Camping is available at Otter Creek Campground, and if you came for an overnight stay Iroquois Land Family Campground is a good place to camp. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
