     Wallace Pond is always a pleasure to visit. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Wallace Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Nulhegan River, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Gaudette Tote Road. Don't forget to take a nice little tour to Leach Creek; a good place to camp here at Wallace Pond is Hidden Acres  
   Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. The Number Six Road is a glorious hiking trail close to Wallace Pond, and Balsams Wilderness is a very popular ski area nearby. There is a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Wallace Pond called the Gore Trail, and Wallace Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Mohawk Valley Camping Area is a pleasant local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Mohawk River offers some tremendous whitewater,
 
               and the top of Canaan Hill is easily seen from Wallace Pond.
There are plenty of folks from Berlin here at Wallace Pond; if you need a location to stay Pure Country Motel & Cabins is a fine choice. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Wallace Pond. A pleasant close by hotel is Maurice Motel, and if you're here, you could also stop by striking Wallace Pond.
For the duration of the days of summer at Wallace Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Wallace Pond temperatures plunge to the-10's.
