    Wallace Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in the vicinity of Wallace Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Nulhegan River; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Gore Trail. The top of Canaan Hill is easily distinguished from Wallace Pond, and glorious skiing awaits you at Balsams Wilderness. The annual precipitation  
   here at Wallace Pond is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month.
While you're here at Wallace Pond you can take a hike along the Number Six Road, and camping is available at Notch View. There's whitewater on Mohawk River for all you adrenaline kick people; going for a hike along the Gaudette Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Summertime highs at Wallace Pond usually
 
               tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Wallace Pond are in the-10's.
Wallace Pond is not the only location close by, Forest Lake is a close by lake, and why not take a look at nearby Leach Creek since you're here at Wallace Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Berlin here, and a pleasant place to camp here at Wallace Pond is Mohawk Valley Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Wallace Pond, you could also stop at nearby Wallace Pond.
