The top of Canaan Hill is easily seen from Wallace Pond, and get drenched paddling on Mohawk River. Mohawk Valley Camping Area is a wonderful local campground, and fine hiking is available along the Number Six Road. Wallace Pond is a good spot of common precipitation; all through August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Notch View is a good campground nearby. | | Pond. Summertime highs at Wallace Pond commonly tend to be in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Wallace Pond temperatures descend to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a fine little spree to Leach Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Wallace Pond; Gore Trail is a perfect local trail. If only every | |

place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. Paddling on Nulhegan River is so much fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Forest Lake. You'll meet a
lot of folks from Berlin here, and don't leave Wallace Pond without first going for a hike along the Gaudette Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Balsams Wilderness.

Is it still there????...Growing up I have had a place on maidstone lake it was my favorit spot at a kid and one day I hope to own another camp up there. I had the best time from water skiing to fishing.
