What a nice lake Walker Pond is. For the period of the summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Walker Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Walker Pond. Walker Pond is a place with many visitors from Rutland, and Neshobe Golf Club is a golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Walker Pond is right by the Bomoseen

| | Hiking Loop, and Country Village Campgrounds is a nice campground here.
Man, is there loads of cool things to do right next door to Walker Pond. Clarendon River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you came for an overnight stay Big D Campground is a splendid site to camp. A gorgeous lake like High Pond near Walker Pond is a wonderful spot to pop by, and the summit of Ganson Hill can be made out from Walker Pond.

Pond to see the water at Walker Pond Dam; dry warm beds await you at Birdcage Bed & Breakfast. The yearly precipitation here at Walker Pond is about average; during August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is
the driest. If you need a spot to stay Maple Grove Cottages is a tremendous choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Walker Pond; Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial is a good local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. The Half Moon
Pond Trail offers hiking at its best, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Otter Creek.
