Many people like to go to Walker Pond. Walker Pond is located in the Green Mountains. You could also have a look at Mud Pond while you're here at Walker Pond; it's close by; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Moose River. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clyde River, and hiking along the Red Pine Trail is brilliant fun.

| | Green Mountains. Have a great hiking adventure along the Loggers Loop Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Lyndon Outing Club. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Motel and Annex, and there's some flowing water close by, McKinley Brook is a stream you can stop by while you're here. Summertime at Walker Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's | |

Walker Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's
no way somebody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Camping is available at Burke Mountain Campgrounds, and the slopes of Burke Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight
stay White Caps Campground is a wonderful place to camp; if you need a location to stay Fairbanks Inn is a glorious choice. If only every site had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Take a hike on the Shore Trail, and a splendid view of scenic Meehan Hill is available.
