It's always fun to stop by Vergennes Watershed. You could also take a look at Bristol Pond if you're here at Vergennes Watershed; it's close by, and good hiking is available along the Oak Ridge Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit New Haven River. There's so much to do here at Vergennes Watershed that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Hill Campsites is a splendid place for that. the dark hours in the wintertime at Vergennes Watershed temperatures plunge to the 0's. The Middlebury Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest; Cochran Ski Center is a very popular ski area nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
There are good places to discover along the Abbey Pond Trail, and Mad River Glen has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Vergennes Watershed has to offer, you can camp at Rivers
Bend Campground, and there's a tremendous forest called Vergennes Municipal Forest. Vergennes Watershed is not the only place nearby, Norton Brook Reservoir is a nearby lake; have a look at nearby Cedar Swamp. This lake is so
wonderful. Don't leave Vergennes Watershed without first going for a hike along the Beaver Meadow Trail, and the scenery at Norton Brook Dam is gorgeous. Vergennes Watershed gets a typical amount of annual rain; the wettest month
of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.

Country Village Campgrounds

A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm days of summer at Country Village Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's. When the weather is good here at Country Village Campground, you can go for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail, and the friendly people of Brandon like to hang out nearby. The Duval Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Country Village Campground, and a day on Pico Mountain is just what you need.
This campground is a stunning spot to go to. An average amount of precipitation falls at Country Village Campground; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
