If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Upper Moore Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Upper Moore Pond generally gets a good deal of precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Killington is a magnificent place to do that, and dry warm beds await you at The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort.

| | Through the long summer days at Upper Moore Pond highs are typically in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Upper Moore Pond. Blueberry Hill is a peak you can see from Upper Moore Pond; since you're here you can take a hike along the Juggernaut Trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is great! nobody can resist; don't forget to take a great little spree to Great Roaring Brook. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Green Mountains has to offer. You don’t have to go far from Upper Moore Pond
to see the water at Moore Pond Upper Dam, and after a long day outdoors Jackson Gore Inn on Okemo Mountain is a great site to spend a night or two. The Bucklin Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Upper Moore Pond,
and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Mill River. Yeah, come here to Upper Moore Pond for a good time. Upper Moore Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Coolidge State Park is a good spot to camp nearby; Upper Moore
Pond is near Plymouth Notch which is absolutely worth checking out. This place, Upper Moore Pond, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Upper Moore Pond is not the only place close by, Grass Pond is a close by lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Black River is so much fun; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Barnard Trail. You could also explore Amherst Lake while you're here at Upper Moore Pond; it's close by.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Upper Moore Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sugarhouse Campground.
